Maria Vieira is a seasoned and accomplished Catering and Conference Director within the hospitality industry. She has over 31 years of managerial experience in the food services industry. She also holds a certificate in International Hotel and Restaurant Management.
Emily Simpson has 17 years of experience in the food service industry. For the past 8 years, she has worked at the Bannatyne Campus (in both catering and retail operations) and two years ago joined us as part of the catering team at the Fort Garry campus.
Sous Chef Tyrell Case has been with the University of Manitoba for nine years and has worked in the culinary industry for 14 years. Tyrell works closely with the catering team to develop standard and customized menus for our catering customers.
Sharon Gan comes from a varied hospitality background from coffee shop, bakery, restaurant to bartending. She has been working at the Conference and Catering department since 2008 and she was promoted to Banquet Manager Position in 2014.
